Culture

At MountainView, our values permeate our workplace and our work product. Client and employee surveys alike reflect similar principles and philosophies that motivate our employees and drive our results.

Our leadership team also recognizes that culture doesn't just naturally appear. It has to be a strategic initiative with both professional and personal elements.

Sophisticated. Knowledgeable. Experienced.

Core Values

We are guided by five core values which help empower our financial services partners to make informed and confident decisions utilizing the unrivaled depth of dedication, sophistication and market knowledge of MountainView.

Expertise

Mark Garland – Executive Vice President

"To fully understand and address our clients' needs now and in the future, our knowledge and experience framework must be continuously expanded. To ensure that our expertise continues to grow, MountainView emphasizes and provides continuing education."

Client-Service Driven

Christine Mills – Managing Director, Analytics

"Our clients' interests always come first. This requires us to be highly responsive at every point of contact, highly attentive to details, and highly flexible when the scope and timing of a client's needs change."

Integrity

Jennifer Kritzik – Senior Vice President, Analytics

"Everyone here recognizes that our clients are trusting us with their biggest challenges, so we approach our work with an ethical, high-quality and objective mindset."

Commitment

Jeff Zygo – Vice President, Analytics

"While we are an independent advisor to our clients and sometimes only work on short-term projects for them, we are committed to their long-term success. Our firm thinks similarly about its staff. While each employee has his or her current role and responsibilities, there's a strong commitment to the ongoing career advancement of each employee."

Entrepreneurial

 Matt Maurer – Managing Director

"As the size of our company grows, we maintain an environment where each employee is empowered to act as an owner, expert, innovator and achiever. As a result, every employee frequently engages in broader activities, going above and beyond what he or she believes is necessary for clients and the firm. That's just the way we work."

Conferences, Workshops, Webinars and Professional Designations

Continuing education is very important to our experienced, intelligent and motivated employees and to our firm's success. We support continuing education by sending our employees to industry events and registering them for workshops and webinars. We've also proudly paid the expenses involved with earning the Chartered Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager designations.

MountainView University

All of our employees have access to an online learning library, which supplements traditional methods of continuing education for professional development and career advancement. The library can be accessed at any time, from work or home.

Employee Summer Picnics and Holiday Gatherings

At our Denver headquarters, we take the time to get to know the significant people in the lives of our colleagues.

Employee Town Halls

Our leadership team conducts quarterly company meetings to provide all employees with an update on the state of our firm and a closer look into the strategic business initiatives.

Community Outreach Programs

Each year, we typically have 150+ donors at our Denver headquarters participate in a semi-annual blood drive for Children's Hospital and take some downtime with each other for a good cause in the community.

In addition to Children's Hospital, we partner with charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Attention Homes to provide employees with diverse volunteer opportunities to give back to our local communities.
